  • At QByte Studios, we have transitioned from a traditional "volunteer" structure to a "contributor" model. This change reflects our commitment to recognizing the value of everyone's work and the 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 for future compensation. The term "volunteer" implies there will never be payment, which is 𝗡𝗢𝗧 true at QByte Studios.

  • We believe in fairly compensating everyone who contributes to our projects. Once a game generates revenue, it is distributed based on each contributor's level of involvement and agreed-upon shares. This distribution is based on net revenue the profit remaining after covering all expenses. The specifics of revenue distribution are discussed and documented before project completion to ensure fairness and clarity for all contributors.

    We use a 𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲-𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 after covering taxes, expenses, and other costs, contributors are compensated first, and leadership is compensated last. While leadership decisions remain with the CEO, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁-𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀. This model emphasizes collaboration, transparency, and shared responsibility.

    In the future we want to focus on a wide range of game genres, from narrative-driven adventures to experimental and innovative gameplay experiences. Our goal is to push creative boundaries while delivering compelling and polished games.
